Over the years I have used several browsers for searching, researching etc. Among my favorites are Chrome, Firefox. I have used Chrome for many years. But there are issues with the browser being a resource hog. In other words, it will slow down your machine significantly. Then the recent problems with plugin security and privacy overall have me on the search again.

Since Chrome is open source, others can take the code and adapt it. The browser wars have shown that Chrome is a significant and major browser. When Microsoft has taken the code to develop there own Chrome based browser you know Google really has something. That brings me to the browser I have been using for a few weeks now. Brave

Brave.

  • Internet pages load faster. “Brave fights malware and prevents tracking, keeping your information safe and secure. It’s our top priority.”
  • Your privacy is a high priority. “Our servers neither see nor store your browsing data – it stays private, on your devices, until you delete it. Which means we won’t ever sell your data to third parties.”

They also have an interesting reward system based on BAT. Basic Attention Tokens.

If you desire privacy, speed & rewards, try it.
